FSM Swimming
Athlete Member Criteria

Membership Requirements

In order to be a member of FSM Swimming and be eligible to compete for the FSM in international swimming competitions, the athlete must meet the following criteria:

  • The athlete must hold a valid FSM passport.

  • The athlete must register with the FSM Swimming Association (FSMSA)

  • The athlete must pay an annual due of $100 to the FSMSA.

  • The athlete cannot have represented any other national federation at an international competition. 

  • The athlete must submit recognized swimming times by a nationally accredited swimming institution.  The swim times must be verifiable.

  • The athlete must sign and submit the FSMSA Athlete Code of Conduct. 

  • The athlete must complete and submit the certification to the FSMSA, the ADEL anti-doping course.  This requirement applies to all athletes and board members.
